How do i recover Corrupted Norton Ghost files? Please Help i really need to recover that data.
If i use Norton Ghost Recovery CD and recover it from "file to disc" it gets to 99% and says file corrupted. if i use Norton Ghost Explorer to open it it searches for a .ghs file then just says that the file is corrupted. I dont need all the files just the files located in "c:\user\ME\"

hey dude those are image files… once i lost all my data by compresing them in fast mode on ghost… then i took out the dvd where i move them…. now i get home and what s my surprise… they r corrupted… fck … i go back to the lap and theres nothing… the folders are empty ..u know i really needed that data…
if you hve not used ur hrd drives for anything since u zeroed thm out…. u may wish to contact the drive manufacturer or a professional data recovery service….such as the one i called Ontrack
in theory it s possible 2 recover data that's bn overwritten, but as a practical matter it may not be economically feasible if it's possible at all….
if u dont wanna pay anything i recomend a software… it recovers the erased data of ur computer… but only the recicle.bin overwritten data… or for a repartitioned drive
i dunno the name of the program … but i think it s something like

disk image viewer…
linux live cd … u can load ir to the linux SO
