McAfee is saying some components are missing, please reinstall McAfee VirusScan. McAfee came on my laptop when i bought it, so i don't have a dick for it. how can i fix it?? please help.
Also it says. am i protected? NO. and when i click fix it says one or more problems require your response.
under computer &files, and email & IM it says Action required. and there not a configure button for either of them. but there is for the rest that aren't giving me problems.

there should be an icon at the right hand bottom for Mcafee { a red M} click it and it should take you to your home screen click on the arrow next to Computers and Files this will take you to your settings Click on Configure and a list will appear and make sure your Virus is on

Anyway, McAfee is crap, uninstall it, and get Avast or something.
This little problem is the same thing I had wrong with my laptop, I finally got fed up and install linux. Harrr
