How do I remove my antivirus?

I want to completely remove all antivirus and leave Norton on my computer.
The problem is that I installed a cheap one (AVG free edition) and now I can’t remove it from anywhere on my computer.

I have Win XP professional.

You should be able to do it from Add/Remove programs.

CONTROL PANEL\ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS\ then highlight the avg antivirus and click uninstall, if this doesnt work go to WINDOWS\PROGRAM FILES\AVG and delete the carpet.
