Hi, Ive just done another full scan of my computer and Kaspersky has informed me that I have a riskware invader.
I want to delete/remove/fix it however Kaspersky doesnt give me that option when I click on ACTIONS. The delete button is grayed out as is the disinfect button, so it doesnt seem to be giving me any option on a course of action.
I dont have any real knowledge of software or any indepth knowledge of computers and although I apprecaite any aswers, please keep them as simple as possible. I find that this kaspersky although good, is designed very badly for unexperienced pc users. Its not user friendly at all. Anyway, its not giving me an option to remove this .
All it says is detected: riskware InvaderRunning process: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ronso\source sdk base\hl2.exe
I do not want to delete the steam folder, it houses about 40GB of games.
I apprecaite any answers, what is the work around here? Sorry for long message ! ![]()

Notice that Kaspersky has that "threat" categorized as a Riskware and not a virus. There is a huge difference.
From the Steam website:
"If you're using Internet security, firewall or anti-virus software, make sure they are set to recognize Steam.exe and all instances of HL.exe and HL2.exe as trusted programs. Please consult your security program manuals for instructions."

Or you might want to inquire at the official Kaspersky Forum:
