How do I remove trojan horse viruses, malware, spyware, and adware from a vista?

I ran McAfee, but it didn’t catch anything. It said my computer was clean.
I ran SUPERantispyware, but it didn’t catch anything. It also said my computer was clean.
I ran AVG Anti-Virus Free and it picked up a bunch and sent them to the “Virus Vault”. What do I do from there? I know almost nothing about removing viruses. Can someone please give me a step-by-step action plan as to how to remove tojans, malware, spyware, and adware?
Please link the website if you want me to download something. Also, please do not be vague, I know almost nothing about my vista. These viruses have been plaguing my computer for 2 days now and I can’t do any of my work!!!!

      Try downloading Bitdefender internet security suite … I believe there is a 30 day trial. It’s works great
