June 29th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I got a belkin router and i know the website and the ever thing But when i set a password and switch it from secruity disable to WPA PSK(no server) it just doesn't work no more, when i try to connect it the massage from the laptop says the setting saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirment of the network. How can i solve this problem, or what shud i do if i chose another secruity seting?

      Hi,

See it's very simple to fix it.
First you configure it. During the configuration in one step you find the WEP or WPA connections
you can put the 10 digit pass key after selecting wep connections.

It sounds like you set the security setting previously and changes the level or password. What you do is this: Go to START -> CONNECT TO -> CLICK ON OPEN NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER -> CLICK MANAGE WIRELESS NETWORKS -> DOUBLECLICK ON YOUR NETWORK-> GO TO THE SECURITY TAB -> CHANGE THE SETTINGS TO WHAT YOU SET ON YOUR ROUTER. Hope this helps!!
