I am connected to a university ethernet connection and I am setting up my wireless internet with my Dell TrueMobile 1184 from home. I can currently get an unsecured wireless connection (that’s how it was set up initially at home). I want to secure my wireless network connection with WEP encryption. When I go to http://192.168.2.1/ I get “Page Load Error”. I’ve tried resetting the router, but that changes nothing. I used “ipconfig” to find the default gateway but it comes up blank in the fourth section. I’ve used the Dell online trouble shooting but I haven’t found a solution yet. How do I secure my wireless internet connection?
