i had WMP on my computer, then i downloaded a file on 'utorrent' and it didn't work. so i downloaded VLC media player and all the files automatically switched to the VLC media ones and they played correctly. so i uninstalled windows, but i installed it again and the files all switched back to WMP files. i tried uninstalling it again but for some reason it didn't work -_- now every time i wanna watch something i have to click start, open VLC, and drag and drop the WMP file on it. how do i uninstall WMP or change the files back to VLC media player?

Right click any file you want to watch with vlc, go to properties, and click the change button, choose vlc and click ok. Now every time you double click any file of this type they will open with vlc.
