I made the mistake of patching my uxtheme.dll so that I could run 3rd party themes on my computer. I also made the mistake of not creating a system restore. I however kept a copy of the uxtheme.dll that I over wrote. I pasted it back into c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386 with no problem, but I could not replace the one in C:\Windows\system32 because it was in use. How do I put the old one back without reinstalling the OS?

Well, if you havent installed many programs since then, I'm sure u have a system checkpoint sometime before you patched the uxtheme.dll. So, if you don't mind losing a few programs that you installed recently, or before patching, you could always do a system restore from a later time.
