I logged onto my computer and received an update to Java. I have learned that this program keeps track of things done on my computer. How can I get rid of it?
I have windows Vista home premium and my browser is run on Firefox.
I’ve gone into the control panel and install/uninstall programs, but it’s not in there. It did state that the update was complete.

Go to the place on your computer that uninstalls programs.

If you are using a Microsoft Windows computer, go into the start menu, under settings, and select control panel. Select add or remove programs, scroll down the list until you see java update, and choose to remove any that you do not wish to have anymore.

Go into control panel and select add/remove programmes then scroll down to it and select remove. Wait and it will remove all apps. I got rid of live msg today very easy.
