How do I uninstall a specific MS update?

I have the conflict of an MS update and Zone alarm someone suggested uninstalling the update (obviously I cannot download the ZA update no internet) But how can I uninstall MS update without uninstalling MS altogether? very frustrating and for this reason I Never allow updates. Thanks

Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Make sure at the top SHOW UPDATES is checked > Go to Windows > Find the update > Uninstall

You did not say which OS you are using.
In XP,Start-Control Panel-Add\Remove programs.
Tick the box Show updates on the top.
