I keep getting two pop-ups. One says "Security Center encountered an invalid license when trying to update components. Please check your license keys". The other one says "The license key for this product is invalid. The license key recorded on your system is: (blank). Please check that this key matches the one you received when you purchased the product.
Hmmm…. I never purchased this product.

Hello,
If you are using windows xp.To uninstall mcafee security center another way is-
*NOTE- please deactivate mcafee security center before proceeding.
1. go to the start menu
2.go to "my computer"
3.Open "local disk "c"
4.Open "program files" folder
5. Look for a folder named "Mcafee" or mcafee.com folder and delete it and you're done.
Note: If you see 2 folders name mcafee and mcafee.com then delete both folder.

Download & Install CCleaner.

Uninstall any component of Security Center.
