June 9th, 2009 · 2 Comments

I have a problem when im setting up the router on the linksys easy link advisor program it says that the router is not supported and it says if you have an older linksys product or non-linksys router, then use the installation utillity that was included with that product started saying this right after I firmware upgraded the dd-wrt on it.

If you're using dd-WRT you should go directly to the web configuration page (often 192.168.1.1) to configure the router. The Linksys software won't work with open firmwares.

If you want to go back to the Linksys firmware, you should be able to just log into dd-WRT and specify an official Linksys firmware file for the firmware upgrade.
