I tried going to control panel to uninstall programs but LimeWire does not show up, i right clicked the LimeWire icon clicked to delete, and it informed me that it does not uninstall the program, to uninstall go to programs and features, and again the file does not show. help?
and yes, i am an administrator on the computer.

I think you need something like total uninstall.
the default Add or Remove program in Windows OS is crap.
It is a shareware program but well worth it. if you need anymore help then let me know….

You can uninstall it with the help of Perfect Uninstaller. This program can uninstall programs that are not listed in the Add/Remove programs list. As long as it locates on your computer, you can use this program successfully uninstall it from your computer.
