I just crashed my computer and I have never had this problem in the past. McAfee is one my computer automatically, and I uninstall it and put iolo on to my computer. When I try uninstalling it is says: “Virsscan is running. Please close all running instances of this application and retry.” Its not running. I have shut down everything … I have disabled everything and it still says it every time. I need my iolo on here but it will not allow me to do so. I NEED HELP!!
I have already tried the windows task manager/processes, and it still says that when I try and uninstall it …

if u faced this problem deadly then format that derive in which that anti virus is present .
if by formatting that derive u lost ur all data.then it’s on u are u not get rid of that unsupported Program from ur pc.

Okay, press ctrl alt del. open task manager click processes now every single thing that has “McAfee” some where in it right click it and click end process. DO this for all of the mcafee processes. Then try it again.

Have you tried pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and going to the processes and searching there for “Virsscan”.If it’s there end it and you should be ok.
