Un-install it from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel! Duh!

hmmmmm…… you should be able to find it in add/remove programs section of the control panel (programs and features in vista) Are you just looking for it to be listed in the control panel???
If you are using the firefox browser then you may want to check Tools / Add-ons / Extensions tab (located in the firefox browser at the top of the screen)
Scroll down to MacAfee SiteAdvisor, click it, to highlight it, and select Uninstall.
Restart Firefox, for the change to take effect.
Try going to the windows icon in the left lower corner of screen and look through all programs for the mcafee internet site advisor, if it is listed there you can see if it has an uninstall option there.
Windows cleanup utility might do the trick.

You can also try looking in program files - click your c drive - program files - if it`s on the list right click and delete.
Also go to regedit, start - run - type regedit into the box - local machine - software - right click - delete.
(but this is not the correct way to uninstall it and it may cause problems as well)

TO John C
The add/ remove programs does NOT always get it all. i have used the add/remove, checked program files-(hidden ones as well) and its still on my system as well. Dont be such a pompas as% by treating ppl as if they are stupid. It makes you look like you are the stupid one. DUH!

MacAfee SiteAdvisor is a pain to uninstall that is why there are so many people on the forums trying to do it.
As for John C., can we add/remove him?
