I am trying to install the new norton 360 and after i ave inserted the cd it says there is an old vesion that needs deleting first…but when i try and delete it from control panel / add remove files ..it says "the specified module could not be found" and when i try and open the old version on my computer it wont even open. I click on the shortcut and nothing happens. I have tried typing norton into search and deleting all the documents but that didnt help and i have tried that norton remove tool online but when i click on the downoad link it just opens a page that says the webpage cannot be displayed..but my internet is working fine.
Also when i first turn the laptop on an error message from norton appears saying a file is missing and when i follow the link it gives to download it the same error mssage appears "the webpage cannot be desplayed". And i cannot install my new verson of norton until i delete the old one…but the old one will not delete…i am really screwed PLEASE HELP!

put the disc in for the older Nortons and see if it will uninstall that way,then do the fresh install

Try downloading the Norton removal program from their website.
If the source link I've pasted doesn't work, try googling "Remove Norton Antivirus".
