I have a 60 day free trial version of Norton 2006. Lately the product has been freezing when I try to open it, and then saying there are pieces missing, and I need to reinstall the product. I tried to remove it in the add/remove programs and it wouldn't let me. Then I tried downloading the Norton removal tool and it won't connect me to the updated download, it says I can't establish a connection (Even though my internet is working just fine.) I finally found I guess an older version of Norton removal from a different website, downloaded it, and went to run it and it said it was expired and I needed to update it. I even did the whole checking my date & time thing like it said, and even going in the register and deleting some "ltm" (or something like that) and restarting the computer, and it still isn't working. How on earth do I get rid of this forsaken product?
