How do I uninstall & reinstall leopard on my iMac G5? A full system backup has been done already.?

My Safari stopped connecting to the internet after I had the harddrive replaced. iTunes & mail both connect but not safari so I uninstalled safari. I do not have Firefox loaded on the iMac either so no way of getting on the Internet. Do I need to reinstall the whole OSX?
