i downloaded stopzilla when I first got my laptop because i hadn’t got any other spyware on it, now ive got norton and every time i start up my laptop i get a message saying register stopzilla or whatever.
If i go to uninstall stopzilla I get a pop up saying stopzilla has stopped the process.
I also tried doing this going through the contol panel to remove programmes and it did the exact same thing.
Any ideas??

You can remove STOPzilla from your computer just as you would any other software application.
To remove STOPzilla from your system:
1. Right-click the System Tray Icon in the lower right corner of your screen and click Exit STOPzilla!
2. Ensure that no programs are running. Shut down all Internet Explorer browsers.
3. If you are using Windows XP: Click Start in the lower left corner of your screen. From the Start menu, select Control Panel. From the Control Panel menu, select Add or Remove Programs.
4. Select STOPzilla! from the list of programs in the Add or Remove Programs dialog. Click Remove.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts until finished.
6. If you are using Windows Vista: Click the Start icon in the lower left corner of your screen. From the Start menu, select Control Panel. From the Control Panel menu, select Programs. From the Programs menu, select Uninstall a Program.
7. Select STOPzilla! from the list of programs in the Add or Remove Programs dialog. Click Remove.
8. Follow the on-screen prompts until finished.

This program is free and will also get rid of all the left over files in your registry. I don`t recommend running either it is to much of a system hog.

Go to the run program..type in (regedit) under “edit” go to find.. type in Stopzilla..it will show all values with stopzilla..delete those values.. reboot..it will no longer be on ur computer.. 1st- Boot ur computer into “SAFE” mode.. uninstall stopzilla,,while in safe mode..run the “SEARCH” program..delete all stopzilla files..then reboot back into normal mode.. then run the regedit…I got the order backwards..lol..this should completely clean out stopzilla from ur computer
