I attempted to install grand theft auto: San Andreas on my sister’s PC, and half way through the set up it froze, and I had to restart the computer, but it still created a desktop icon for the game, and it looks like it pre-maturely installed, but not completely. Now when I try to uninstall it, it an error pops up that reads “setup.dll.cpp”, and it will not let me uninstall it. Also, the game doesn’t appear in the Add/Remove Programs utility. If anyone could help me, and walk me through solving this problem I would be very grateful.

erase all of its files. you don’t need to uninstall it since its not in the Add/Remove Programs utility. its in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games.
Delete the whole Rockstar folder and you can install it again if you want

Do what cute said or you could system restore, his/her method would be easier though.

Re-Instal it into the same directory you put it in before, and it will overwrite everything. Then uninstall. If there is something wrong with the file/disk and you cant install all the way, then the next best thing is to find the folder and delete everything. Its probably c:\program files\xxxxx xxxxx being San Andreas or GTA, or the game makers name…..
