How do uninstall netgear router settings from windows xp?? ?

January 17th, 2009 · 1 Comment

I usually connect to the internet using my modem from comcast and it's automatically detected and installed when I install windows xp. Now I had this wireless netgear router and it worked fine but I don't have it now and I'm trying to connect directly through my modem again. I tried reinstalling the network card, removing any netgear software but nothing works. How do I connect to the internet again without reinstalling windows?
It says limited connectivity and when I click fix it says trying to renew ip address but it fails, all cables are connected corectly and all lights are normal on the modem.

you have to use a broad band connection if your connection type is not dynamic.
create a broad band connection it should give you that option on the left side of network connections.
