How do you completely remove AVG 8.0 to install new Kaspersky CD?

I just bought Kaspersky 2009 Internet Security from PC World but every time I try to install it, it asks to uninstall AVG 8.0 because its incompatible. I HAVE uninstalled AVG from Add/Remove Programmes, I have deleted the folder in Programme Files, and I have also downloaded a programme to clean the Registry, but its still there. Im using Vista, Pls help
