How do you delete certain internet history on Mcafee?

March 6th, 2009 · 4 Comments

I accidently clicked on a spam website and don't want my Dad to see. I know how (and already) deleted it on the internet browser history but we have McAfee and he said he can check internet history there. How can I view it and delete it?

you're screwed. if it really was an accident, let him know it was an accident before he even finds out on his own. he will respect you more for that

      1. Disable your network connection.

      2. Right click on the McAfee icon on your task bar.

      3. Move the mouse up to 'Quick Links'

      4. Select Maintain Computer

      5. Under McAfee QuickClean select Start

      6. Walk your way through the system.

      7. On the last page, select Yes I want to securly erase files using Shredder. If you're asked to restart, then restart.

      8. Re-enable your network connection. Boom! That's it!
