I currently show that both McAfee firewall and Windows firewall are active which i believe is a problem when you run two at the same time.
There is no icon of McAfee (anti-virus or firewall) anywhere on my computer. I have checked Programs and Features (Control panel, programs, programs and features), as well as going to Computer Management (run, typing services) and there is no sign of McAfee. But when i go Windows Security Systems under the firewall section it says: "Windows firewall and McAfee personal firewall both report that they are turned on". So how do i disable or un-install McAfee firewall when there is no sign of it anywhere but in Windows Security??
I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you!
Ok so i downloaded ccleaner and when i hit run cleaner it asked me…
This process will permanently delete files from your system, are you sure you want to do this?
What files exactly will it delete? It won’t delete my pictures or word doc files will it?

Download ccleaner, run it , uninstal mcafee
to end it
task manager > Processes > right click and end process anything that looks like "mcafee.exe" etc

Go to C:\Program file and check the folder of McAfee
