How do you fix a blue screen error?

My brand new windows vista stops w/ the blue screen errros when I am in normal mode.and I can only use it in safe mode.why is that happening? I really need your help .O and one more ? can I fix it whit a system restore? thank you for you help I appreciate your help.

      Well, the bad news is you’ll have to do a system wipe, not restore, to fix this problem. The good news is that Vista will save your previous installation in a folder called windows.old that you can access….but, be careful about what files you draw out of windows.old….because it sounds like you have a virus…and if you pull out an infected file, then you’ll be at square one all over again.
