I've got several "Very dangerous" and "Highly Dangerous" threats coming up that aren't being automatically disinfected or deleted. My scan settings are to "Disinfect, delete if cannot be disinfected". However, every time I scan I get more threats added to my detected threats list that nothing is happening with. When I click on one and then click the quarantine button, I'm getting the "Open" folder directory where I'm supposed to choose a folder to quarantine too. I've never seen anything like this on an anti-virus program. Where am I supposed to quarantine to? Am I supposed to set up a folder and how can I make sure these threats are safely quarantined?

The reason why Kaspersky can't disinfect or delete is that the threats are active as you said. Try to scan in safe mode (tap F8 while the computer boots up and choose safe mode from the menu), they shouldn't be active in safe mode and Kaspersky should be able to delete them.

I understand what you mean as it can seem confusing
especially if you compare it to other programs you have
used…but Kaspersky is different in that it downloads in
default mode which means quarantine and disinfecting
are set to recommended levels and Kaspersky take care
of them and are safely out of harms way or deleted…they
leave them on the list of "detected" but for info purposes
only and you can delete from the list if you require.
Now the only thing to bother about is "Active Threats" as
Kaspersky will deal with the above and will leave you to
fix any Vulnerable Items which are things like Adobe..Java..
Acrobat and missing updates from Microsoft….if you r/click
on an item you will be guided to an update or a fix
or straight to where the file is located on your
computer..This is what they leave you to fix and
they look after everything else.
There will be nothing under active threats for you
to quarantine as KAV will handle that.

then what shall i do ? shall i leave all the active threat as it is or when i right click it gives following option:
Go to description
Add to exclusions
Open folder where file was initially located
Delete from list
clear list
Can some one will help me out of this - please . . .

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES TO QUARANTINE BECAUSE WHENEVER I SELECT THE OPTION MY PERSONAL DRIVE OPENS AND I’M NOT SURE OF SELECTING A PARTICULAR FOLDER.
