I can't seem to find a way to turn off my firewall on the Norton antivirus thing. there is no option to turn it off. All of my other virus protector systems in the past have allowed me to have the option. Do any of you know how to turn off the firewall ?

When you open it, did you see any options for firewall settings which you can configure? What version are you using?
