I went to uninstall an older version of Adobe photoshop and I noticed that every Adobe program that I have on my computer is unable to be uninstalled via the add/remove program in control panel. When I select one of the Adobe programs there is no button for remove, so I checked every other program on my computer and they all had a remove button next to them.
Is the only way to remove an Adobe program to delete it in Windows Explore? And if so, how do I ensure that I remove everything associated with that program? I have never tried to remove an Adobe program before so I’m also wondering is this common practice with all Adobe products?

Yes, the best way to do it would be by using a program called Revo Uninstaller.
Safely download it from here:

Find Adobe Photoshop in the list. Right-click on it and select "Uninstall". Use the advanced option. It should do the trick.
