My friend messed around with all the people in my sims 2 game so i want to uninstall it and then re install it. But it dosnt come up in control panel>all programs. And when i go to Start>all programs>ea games>sims 2>uninstall it wont uninstall. Does anyone know another way to uninstall it.

Well try, start > settings > control panel > add and remove programs.
then look for sims 2 and find uninstall.
i would go further but i don't have the game

If you have Vista, you could go to Control Panel>Unistall a Program; Then find The Sims 2, click on it then click on Unistall/Change

If you just want to start over with your neighborhood, don't uninstall. That's too much work.
All you have to do is go to the My Documents folder where The Sims 2 game is stored. First, save all your downloads and the lots you want to keep (PackagedLots), then delete "The Sims 2" folder.
Then when you restart the game, a new folder is created and all the neighborhoods are back minty fresh. If you want your downloads and saved houses back on the game, then put your downloads folder back in there and also put your saved lots back in the game by double clicking on them. You can then store your houses in the packaged lot bin again.

mine wont uninstall either but it wont even let me start the game i deleted all downloaded items and exp’s (i have vista) before vista it worked on my xp it had crashed once or twice but i fixed it but my computer is screwed please try and help me X (i dont usually ask )

Uhm.. I installed Teen Style stuff 3 hours ago, and now ive spent 3 hours looking at the game not beeing able to start, not beeing able to uninstall.. Ive tryed control panel, uninstall links under each expansion, manual deletion.. Nothing works.. Its as if Sims2 has taken over my laptop..

yeah, whenever i go into ea games/ uninstall sims 2 it wont let me it keeps saying i have previous expansion packs i have to remove before i can delete the sims 2 the only problem is i cant find the expansions/ stuff packs i am pretty sure i had deleted them (i have vista i really want my sims 2 to work again but havent found a solution at this moment.
p.s all my downloads are gone.

Sims 2 is messing up my computer! It freezes now, and is very slow. I HAVE to get it out, but I doesn’t show up in Add/Remove, nor can I find an uninstall link in my programs. This feels criminal. Does anyone know how to get this thing out of my computer?

Well you need to go to my computer and then go to my documents and click on EA games and then delete file after that go to rycling bin and empy bin. Go to my computer, local C drive and then Ea games ad delete files.

i have xp i deleted all folders from sims2 and expansion packs but now when i go to add or remove programs and click change/remove it dosent uninstall

If you have Vista, sending the EAGAMES folder to the Recycle Bin and then emptying it works. Thanks for the tips guys
