I’m considering getting Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. Anyone have a good experience with it?

i have heard it is decent, but i would seggest avg free, go to filehippo.com and search for avg free, it should be the first result. it’s 100% free, free upgrades to newer versions, and it’s the best available in my opinion, i have never had a problem with it

It’s one of the best ones. It is very detectable, preventable, and has a sandbox included. It is one of the best paid security programs. I have it and it can defend my computer, and the only problem I have with it is that it can slow down my computer when I run a game.

Right now i am using Kaspersky 2009. My sub hasn’t run out yet. But when it does Kaspersky internet security 2010 will take it’s place. It’s the best i ever had. Two things you should know, Just in case you don’t, You need at least one gig of memory for Kaspersky to run smooth. As long as you have that you will have no performance problems. The other, Kaspersky works best on a machine that is clean. No bugs or viruses of any kind. Like when the machine is new or with a clean reinstall of the OS. Once installed on a clean machine that is patched right from Microsoft update it will stay clean. Mine has been clean for 2 years. No bugs no viruses, No nothing. Best i ever had.
I’ve had several nasty bugs and viruses to try to break through the fire wall. Never makes it. If you can run kaspersky you will have the best. No free AV can hold a candle to it. Neither can a lot of other paid ones.
By the way, Get Kaspersky internet security. It has a built in firewall. Kaspersky Anti Virus doesn’t. It only has AV & Anti spy. Kaspersky firewall is one of the best features of the product. One tough firewall to beat next to Barracuda.
