a friend of mine is going to give me a copy of symantec endpoint protection for small business. I am not a business but he said that it would work very well for personal home use also. Is that true or would that be too much?
does anyone have any experience with this security system? if so, is it good?

It’s not bad. It’s much lighter than most of Symantec’s home offerings, and it does have a good engine.
It is a bit limited however. It lacks useful spyware and adware protection, and has limited heuristic capabilities.
