How is it I delete threats with Kaspersky?

May 16th, 2009 · 2 Comments

So, I have around four hundred active threats on my computer. I did a scan, and clicked on the "detected" tab that the program has. I am stuck here! How is it that I delete the threats? When I right click, My "disinfect all" option does not work. I've been reading around a bit, and nobody has a really clear cut way to do this (That is explained). If anybody could explain this to me it would be awesome (:

Kaspersky is very good both at detecting and removing malware. However, it is not very good at telling its users what it is doing, and doesn't seem to give much control to the user.

All of the threats Kaspersky picked up on your computer, it will have either removed automatically or quarantined. I have had this problem where I am unsure whether I need to press disinfect or anything, but it will have done it by itself.

However, since your computer was infected to that extent, I advise downloading a few more fre programs just to remove any last malware left.

      Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

      Ad-Aware

Install and full scan with these. They should be able to completely clean out your computer.

      Hope this helps
      Good luck
