I want to switch from yahoo's norton to mcafee, and uninstalled most of the yahoo protection, but when i tried to uninstall the norton portion of it, i get an error message that says "unable to launch uninstall program for ATT yahoo online protection" with out being able to uninstall norton, i am not fully protected with mcafee. how do i completely uninstall all of the yahoo online protection (norton included)?

try to download that ATT yahoo thing again then uninstall norton first…
or maybe you can shred or delete the whole thing…

You must go to Norton's web sit…There you can get a program called ….Norton_Removal_Tool….it works perfect and was the only thing i found that would uninstall it from my lap top…

If you need expert tech assistance, I would call McAfee and they can guide you over the telephone. I use McAfee and they have helped me before and they offer good over the phone assistance. Of course, you could go into your Control Panel, and go into Uninstall and try once again to unistall the thing. I have had to click on unistall several times before myself. You do need to completely uninstall the Norton before you install the McAfee as they will conflict with each other. Good Luck!
