How to delete Norton Internet Security from computer?

April 18th, 2008 · 2 Comments

hi, I am kind of computer illiterate and I need help with how to delete Norton Internet Security from my computer. I noticed that it doesn't really do anything for my computer in terms of getting rid of risks. It told me my computer was risk free already, but i ran another scan and it found another harmful cookie. So now, I'm planning to replace it with either Avast or AVG (I'm still trying to decide which one). How do I delete Norton Internet Security from my computer or do I uninstall it? I don't understand (sorry, please help).

Run Norton Removal Tool, that will remove all traces of the evil that is norton :P As far as which anti virus you should choose, both avg and avast are good, but i can also highly recommend kaspersky - you pay for it but it is an excellent bit of software.
The tracking cookie you found isnt actually that harmfull, its fairly innocuous, but on the other hand i cant recommend norton at all.
