It seems like it detects them well. However, only certain kinds have the option to 'disinfect'. I don't get it. And the quarantine option is annoying mostly bc I don't know what it's for. I'm computer illiterate, so if you can help will you please describe how this virus scanner works and/or tell me how to get rid of the viruses that it says my computer has?
Oh, yeah. Don't give me a link to Kaspersky's website. Already been there. Their instructions confused me. This was way more complicated than I expected!!

run your computer in safe mode then do a scan with the scanner this will likely fix the problem since the bug is not ruining in the background at that point how to go to safe mode restart your computer keep taping f8 then the boot screen will appear then choose to run in safe mode only

First of all, do not blame kaspersky for anything. You see, not everything can be disinfected. Some files are just viruses themselves therefore must be deleted. Quaratine means that it will imprison those viruses and make them harmless, but you can release or delete them at any time. If u ever uninstall kaspersky, delete everything in quaratine cuz uninstalling it will let them free. If kaspersky confuses you, i suggest you switch to ESET NOD32 antivirus or bitdefender antivirus when u can.eset is a bit better but bitdefender has a very simple interface. Also, i suggest you get a firewall. Look up Outpost firewall. its nice, simple, and the best free one there is.
