Use Kaspersky Internet security. You can try a beta version without buying it. Go to http://www.kaspersky.com , find the internet security tool. You need a key to activate the product.

If you want to save money and not call in a tech to to help you, You may want to consider backing up your computers files and performing a reinstallation of your OS. Make sure you have all the disk - MS OFFICE - Antispyware - and other utilities you installed or purchased after the first time startup of your computer when it was brand new.

Try downloading SPYBOT: Search & Destroy from this download mirror website I’ve got the link off the official site: http://www.freewarearchiv.com/sicherheit/spywarescanner/spybot.htm

Sounds like you’ve got a browser hi-jacker, rather than a virus.
