Okay I’m getting really pissed off because I can’t find a way to disable it. The “Disable on-access scan” from the right click menu is greyed out, and I get “Access is denied” when I try to end the process from Task Manager. Also, McAfee still scans files I exclude, and all the settings I change from the console goes back to default after some time.
How do I disable this cruddy thing without uninstalling it??
