I recently got a new computer with windows vista home basic I got it from my uncle but the disk to it was bad. It wont let me repair vista. My uncle messed around with it and deleted some important files for vista. I need to repair it. Right now I don’t have a job to buy a new disk. I was wondering if there was a program that will repair it. Also the create restore disk was one of the programs that was deleted. If someone knows of one that is free and works let me know.
I've tried the repair one that everyone tells me to use but that is not whats wrong. The repair program that I've seen everywhere doesn't fix the files just the windows start up. I want a program that will full recover the deleted files. Files like making a recover disk. I think I should have listed this as recovery and not repair. Also don't tell me system recovery the one that would have fixed that as long since been deleted off due to me cleaning my hard drive for space.
