im running a dv6000 laptop, after reformating mylaptop i was installing drivers; i installed a driver, and it asked me to reset; after i reseted a blue screen popped up

After this happendi tried reformating my laptop again
but when reformat windows says i dont have a harddisk drive; I run the diagnostic test given in the CMOS setup
the quick check was Success; and when i ran the whole 41 minute one it failed. oh btw the msg says
Run CHKDSK/F to check for harddrive corruption, and then restart your computer. i dont know how to get to this to run it but if anyone could help that will be awesome

I’m assuming that by reformating you tried to reload windows and it couldn’t find your hard disk. That said you may want to try a boot utility disk to check the hard drive one of my favorites is found here.

It will have some hard disk tools that should help you out …….Good luck.
