How to get firewall to stop blocking browser, mcafee security center?

I use mcafee security center on my computer and recently all of my browsers stopped working, and on "what's new" it say "google chrome (which I use) was blocked from accessing the internet. This application can no longer communicate with the internet." How can I stop my firewall from blocking my browser. I did see an option that I could check, to trust all traffic from comps on my lan
