My computer wallpaper says:

Below that, there’s a link that takes my to this site without an address that wants me to download “PC Protection Center 2008″.
I’ve downloaded Ad-Aware to get rid of the spyware but it didnt work and I really don’t want to do a system restore. I have Norton Symtec for my anti-virus and the subscription ended about a week ago.
What should I do?

If you’re not going to renew Norton, you should uninstall it & use the Norton uninstaller tool. Then download a new anti virus like avira - asap! Also use a good firewall like Comodo. Be sure to update Ad Aware & do a full scan when you use it, not a smart scan. Links below. Good luck.
