July 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I DL'd a torrent of XP Pro to install on my Vista 32 system but Im not quite sure how to install it on my pc w/o having the disc. Im fairly familiar w/ what goes into setting up a dual OS but thats w/ a hard copy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Connect two hard drives to the same mother board, BIOS, and set your main one as the master drive, and the other one as the slave drive. It should prompt you to do so once it's recognizes both hard disks, which doesn't occur until after you reboot your computer. If that doesn't work, then I'm sorry, but there's no other way that I know of. You pretty much need the CD.
