Some Antivirus and anti spyware programs have poor detection capacity and even cause threats to your computer. For best protection, use both Avira Antivirus for Virus protection and NoAdware 5.0 for spyware, malware and adware protection. Always update your Anivirus and anti spyware regularly to maintain your protection.
Avira Antivirus

Internet Security Info:
AVG - Detects viruses but not all
Kaspersky - better than others but some problems on the performance issues
Nod32 Antivirus - low quality anti virus
Norton Antivirus (Symantec) - always creating crashes/not recommended antivirus
Mc Affee Antivirus - the same poor detection on viruses like nod32

i will try to answer you question unlike the idiot who was trying to dictate his limited opinion . I have kaspersky complete protection it is very sensitive to any folder from previous a/viruses does AVG have an unistall tool if so have a go with that or you will just have to go through manually deleting vave a look in registry there is probably a file still there . Good luck hope this helps
