August 18th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I have AVG Free Edition 8.0 and i have this program which i want to open but i cant open it because AVG thinks its a Trojan. Is there anyway which i can make it so AVG will let me open this program?

P.S - I know it isn’t a Trojan because i have made the program.

      try seeing if you can either A. lower the firewall of the program because that is what its essentially doing. or B. try to see if you can go to the settings of the AVG and put that program to allowed or trusted.

      Open the AVG user interface…

      Click Tools->Advance Settings…

      Click Resident Shield->Exceptions…

      The Add the program (or file, directory) you wish to be excluded from scans…
