how to monitor recently viewed website with vb 2008?

i have visual basic and i was wondering if there is a way to have it set up so every time a new website is visited it takes note or sends me an email.
i have the email code set up in another program so that wont be a problem, but is there a way to monitor cookies or recently viewed websites using visual basic 2008
