How to quarantine a virus on Kaspersky Software?

Hi I currently have a 1 year subscription protection from Kaspersky virus protection.

I recently did a full scan of my computer. Afterwards I clicked on "detected" to see what has been detected and then I click on "quarantine" and then it just brings me to an "open" dialoge window.

I don't think my computer is cleared of viruses because I still have a "systems securirty warnings' Poping up frequently to often even after my full scan is complete.

So the issues are with kaspersky.

1) Doesn't seem to disinfect viruses after quarantine
2) Still actively receive pop ups form systems securtiy.

My specific question, when the "Open" dialoge window appears, and wants to open something what does a person do?
