go to add/remove programs option under the control panel, and you should be able to remove it from there

you can download a removing program off Google. I had Norton and now I use Windows Live One Care. I uninstalled Norton by searching for one on Google.

I suggest you try ESET NOD32 Antivirus http://www.eset.com.sg/html/44/42/ NOD32 antvirus requires less system resources, so it is not like Norton always slow down your computer even the new verison 09. NOD32 run faster than others, will save time for you. I am using it 1 year already, help me detected and cleanned many virus already included the one cannot be cleanned by Norton and Macfee. NOD32 can detect and clean unknow virus by ThreatSense® engine
