Download and scan your computer with the the following free software in order one by one, delete what ever they find to leave your PC free of infections:
Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
SuperAntispyware: http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html?cdlPid=10850129
SmitfraudFix: http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.exe
Avast Anti-Virus: http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Edition/3000-2239_4-10019223.html?tag=pop.software&cdlPid=10867956
Once you have removed the infections keep Avast and download Comodo Pro firewall, then switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE this should stop it returning. (links on my profile)

I would try AVG, if you would like to learn more about the infections follow the link below

Too many programs to install is not good for the computer. You won’t need all of them afterwards, so it’s just more stuff in the system.
I suggest a way to fight the malware without installing anything:

If you Internet connection is OK and you don’t have troubles accessing websites, you can easily download a zipped command-line scanner, unpack it and run the program under Safe Mode. a-squared will remove gazillions of pests, and then it’ll be easier for you to decide if you need any additional desktop security program.
