I tried using add/remove software function, but it is not there. I also tried to run the “msconfig” file but no the software is not there. I also tried the registry cleaner software but I could not find the software as well (I don’t know what to remove anyway). The anti-spy software is running on my windows tools screen and it keeps giving this warning signs. I am hope someone can help.

This past week, I battled a very determined trojan horse. Actually, some of what I learned may help you.
I suggest your first step is to go to the following link to learn about the ASC. http://www.wiki-security.com/wiki/Parasite/AntiSpyCheck
Near the very top of that page you will see the SpyHunter Spyware Detection Tool. You can click on that.
More info is available at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=anti+spy+check+asc&btnG=Google+Search
Hopefully the info on those links will solve your problem. With my issue, I downloaded AVG and a bunch of other AV programs, and they all failed to solve my problem.
What finally worked (very quickly & easily) was a program with an awful name: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM). Download this from pcworld.com or download.com.
If none of this works, try the link from a previous message from Sly_Old_Mole.
I have learned recently that some of the best AV programs, besides MBAM, are Avast, AVG, BitDefender, ClamAV, F-Prot, F-Secure, Kaspersky, McAfee, Symantec, and Trend Micro.
If you still have problems, send me an email. I have some tricks to fine-tune MBAM that could help.
